The SEM Fitness Personal Coaching service provides you with one on one access to a fitness coach that will design an individualized program to help you achieve your goals.

The details of the Personal Coaching process are outlined below.

SEM Fitness Personal Coaching Process

New Client Intake

Those interested in personal coaching will complete the new client intake form.  After receipt of the form we will contact you within 24 hours to schedule the goal assessment session.

Goal Assessment

The purpose of this one hour session is to determine whether or not SEM Fitness will be a good fit for you based on what you want to achieve.  During the session the coach will review your fitness goals with you and if needed, help you to refine them into SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-based) goals.  The coach will also review the core values of SEM Fitness and our process for achieving success with our clients.  At the end of this session you will be able to decide if you would like to go move forward with SEM Fitness.

Fitness Assessment

The purpose of the fitness assessment is to identify your current level of fitness and identify any potential muscle imbalances.  The information obtained during the fitness assessment as well as the your goals will help the coach to develop a personalized training plan.  During the fitness assessment the coach will measure your heart rate after various cardio exercises as well as observe your form while executing body weight exercises such as squats.  This can be done virtually or in person.

Program Design

SEM Fitness coaches design a training program for you based on your current fitness level and your goals.  Each week you will receive a new personalized training plan to help you meet your goals.

Nutritional Tracking

It is recommended, but not required, that you track your meals using the MyFitnessPal app and share it with your coach via the PT Distinction app.  Your coach will suggest food choices and portions that are healthy, sustainable, and will help you to achieve your goals.

Touch Points

You will have unlimited email and text access to your coach.  We encourage you to communicate with your coach often so that they are in the best position to design a program that is right for you.  In addition to email and text communications there will be formal monthly touch points where you and your coach will review your goal progress, what's working for you, and what is not working for you.
